Mike Allerton set up Allerton IT Services in 2009 primarily to provide a range of services to meet the needs of the smaller business. Mike is an independent consultant helping small businesses resolve their IT problems and gain the substantial benefits IT can provide.

Mike’s particular skills and background are well suited to helping smaller companies. He has the ability and experience to identify and understand the needs of his customers, analysing problems and identifying solutions and therefore can provide the specific IT services needed by businesses of all sizes.

Excellent interpersonal skills enable him to communicate well with all levels of management, users and IT staff, as well as bridging the gap between technical and non-technical personnel.

He has a wide range of experience working with both small and large organisations. He is experienced in Analysis, Software Design, Software Development, Project Implementation, Training and Hardware and Software Support.


Positions held include: Senior Analyst Programmer, IT Manager and IT Director.


Mike Allerton is a Member of the British Computer Society (BCS), the Chartered Institute for IT and has a BA (Hons) degree in Systems Analysis.
